Entry for the Gift of Art contest. This is a painting of my friends who had to move away for work and was a gift to them, but that's not what makes this a gift. Instead of just doing my thing all by myself, I turned up at my friend's house and painted this with her. Naturally, her ideas were WAAAY better than mine, and she introduced me to the ancient technique of blowing paint around with straws, otherwise known as strawXcore. She doesn't paint but she took me to school anyway, and this painting is as much an illustration of the fun we had sitting in the driveway as it is of my other friends who had to move away.
